About 1 in every 68 people in the world live with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. There is only a number of them that have a documentary about what it's like living with the condition. Of course, there is not just one that is the best out of all of them. They all work to spread awareness and acceptance in their own unique ways. I decided to write about five Autism focused documentaries that I find are the most interesting and that I think you should watch too.

![]() By Clara H Common statements I get told are, "why are you covering your ears?" and "It's not loud to me". Many individuals on the autism spectrum experience volume differently than neurotypicals. Most of us may not even realize that our way of interpreting sound is not the same as most. Which I frankly do not understand how people can go a day without pressing their hands over their ears, so it is hard for me to explain it without thinking about the reasons. After I had some thought and did research I came up with a great way to describe it. |
