I wanted to step away from what I usually discuss on my blog and jump into a less sensitive topic. Recently a lot of people have been stressed out about the pandemic so I thought I would use this time to share some of my favorite things with my audience. Maybe this article will help you get to know me personally. You can think of this as a page full of positive reviews. This will include things such as books and podcasts. I Hate Autism Speaks and you Should too

Autism Speaks is the world's largest autism science advocacy organization. It was founded by Bob and Suzanne Wright in February 2005 one year after their grandson was diagnosed on the spectrum. It received more than $180 million as of 2012. The majority of their budget goes to advertising, funding, and research about finding prevention.

5 Documentaries About Autism You Should Watch

About 1 in every 68 people in the world live with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. There is only a number of them that have a documentary about what it's like living with the condition.  

Of course, there is not just one that is the best out of all of them. They all work to spread awareness and acceptance in their own unique ways.

I decided to write about five Autism focused documentaries that I find are the most interesting and that I think you should watch too.

It can be difficult to know how to respond to certain situations you might of never been in before. Many people on the Autism spectrum often get told things that can be more offensive than you may assume. Sometimes the first thing that comes to mind should just stay inside of your head. So, what are some things you should not say to people with ASD? I came up with a list of 15 and will include a few extras at the end of things that we do want to hear from you.
