On Saturday, May 22nd, I received my high school diploma, which requires massive amounts of hard work and discipline. Some have to fight harder than others. Imagine walking into a crowded building without vision, doing your homework out on the streets, having to wheel yourself to every class, or forcing yourself to stay awake at your desk after a long night of abuse. The list goes on and on, but that's to name a few. Throughout High School, I got the opportunity to know many students who faced these kinds of difficulties in their everyday lives. Many (the ones I know of) graduated with me. They are all people who defeated the odds. None of us could have made it alone. It took great friends, family, and teachers to help guide us along the way. My only advice to you is to keep pushing. It will all be worth it.
